If these are 2 sulcatas there is something to worry about. The dominant male will persue the submissive male relentlessly. This is normal sulcata behavior. They shoud be seperated or given a large enough enclosure with visual obstructions to allow one to escape the advances of the other.

: I am very concerned about Albrecht. I have had my suspicions for quite some time now that Albrecht is not really a boy, and that Chanel (who at three years, gave proof of his gender last wintert that he is VERY much a boy) has figured that out also.

: Although I have called Richard Carey Paull and been reassured that there is nothing unnatural or stressful about one male mounting another, and since Albrecht seeks out Chanel and taunts him until THAT behavior results, I still worry about young Albrecht, whether or not he/she is male/female. Albrecht (3 years and 11 pounds) has been enjoying the gender-bending, seems happy, fat and cuddly with Chanel (almost 4 years and 15 pounds), but his little shell is getting "marked-up" from rough play by Chanel's claws. Therefore, I have been attempting to keep them separated for most of the time.

: How worried should I be about the marking of Albrecht's shell? I am about to run to the vet over this. . . .
