Something that RC Paull told me to do was open a Vitamin E gelcap over the torty's head and neck and rub that in. I even had a vet recommend that I open it directly over their eyes (!) if they were swollen or seemed to be having problems. I have used other numerous turtle eye products and the E gel was less stressful than some of those turtle eye rinse or turtle eye drops which seemed to further irritate the eyes. I hesitate to recommend this to everyone, but I just know that it worked for my turtles.
