I have recently acquired an adult pair of Greek tortoises which I'm keeping in a large indoor enclosure. I've never hibernated tortoises before, so I wasn't planning on doing that. They are showing lots of mating behaviors. Male biting at female, ramming, and mounting with mouth gaping open. The female seems to be receptive. I was wondering should I let this go on? How do I know if the female is gravid? Any other thoughts or opinions would be appreciated.
