Hi Lisa,
for my outdoor sulcatas I sometimes turn on the Pearlco non light emiting ceramic heat bulb.
It hangs from the ceiling of their 6' - 8' overnight shed.
However the shed is large and they can move away from the heat if they choose.Plus I always leave the doors cracked a bit when using it.
I do have a kane pad ( pig blanket, but prefer the Pearlco bulb).
I use a 150 watt bulb, on very cold nights it keeps the shed cozy, but not hot.

For Hoku at night I use a heat pad for humans, from K mart I think.
I put a thick towel on the table, place the heating pad on the towel.Cover it with another towel, then Hoku's overnight Rubbermaid. ( He goes out during the day now).

In the Rubbermaid I place another towel, the heating pad is positioned so it's only under one third of the Rubbermaid.

The towels give plenty of protection from direct heat, so it's just gentle underbelly heat. The bottom towel protects the table!
I NEVER have the heating pad on any setting other than low.
It creates a nice warm cozy corner for overnight, without it being too hot.
I place newspaper sheets over his Rubbermaid to keep the heat in at night

You can order kane pads and ceramic heaters from the Bean Farm.
For the Kane Pad you will need to buy the rheostat.
For the ceramic heat bulb, the hood.

But they might be too big, more than you need for a little sulcata.
A human heat pad used with the towels works great.
Or you can get a black/purple reptile night light,
and place it so it only heats a third of his enclosure overnight.
Hoku prefers the light heat from the pad.
I've linked the Bean Farm below.
Terry.
