I'm afraid I will have to disagree with Leo's advice. You are not a doctor, nor do you have the benefit of being able to diagnose fecal samples at your home. If there are no worms present, there is no reason to unnecessarily deworm your tortoise. Many dewormers like Ivermectin can be fatal to tortoises and to be quite honest, I don't place alot of faith in the over-the-counter reptile medicines. If there are parasites present, there will be no way for you to tell, or to tell how to treat. The smart thing to do would be to have a vet visit and bring a fecal sample with you to be analyzed and cultured. Let the vet tell you what types of worms, if any, are present and then administer the appropriate deworming medication. This is really the best way to go...
