My 8 year old son got a Russian Tortoise for a Christmas present, which he loves and has taken nicely to taking care of.
We have found several books and internet sources of information for food, care etc. The one question I can't find an answer to is how much to feed her?
We have found several lists of good and bad foods, but nothing has mentioned how much to feed and how often.
How Often do we feed her?
How much do we feed her?
Can you just put a bunch of food in and she will eat what she wants, or are they like some goldfish that eat everything?
Right now my son is feeding 2-3 pieces of Romain lettuce each morning, Torty, that's what he named her, seems to run right over and devour all of it. Is it to much, to little, just right? We occasionally put in a carrot as well and will be getting more foods as we find the lists.
Thanks for any help.
