I dewormed my Russian tortoises two years ago with Fenbendazole paste and it seemed to be succeccful without any problems on the tortoises. Last week, I got new Russian tortoises and found some worms (looks like pin worms) in the feces. I need to deworm them, but some of them are pretty small. Although I have never heard tortoises got sick or die due to de-worming by Fenbendazole, I just want to know if anybody has had a problem. And if you have ever de-wormed juvenile tortoises (about 150gram in weight), please let me know. And I am wondering if the de-facto standard dosage (100 mg Fenbendazole per kgram weight) also applies to juvenile tortoises. Happy new year!
