Hi Lisa,
a teaspoon - a tablespoon sounds about right for that size.
Just monitor his weight and as long as he's eating and gaining steadily, not losing weight, you're on the right track.

Just got back from the vet with little Hoku who has gained 7 grams in the week I've had him:)

The last couple of days he's been very active, grazing and eating much more than before. We skipped one Baytril shot so he would stay awake to eat. The Baytril knocks him out.
You can actualy see his nares now too.
He still bubbles a bit when he's indoors , not as much when he's outside though.
He wouldn't stay still at the vets and was trotting all over the table.
On his first visit to the vet last Saturday he didn't even open his eyes when given his shot.

Lisa glad to hear that Virgil is doing well, and we won't get fed up with you.
I love up dates on new torts.
I'm still worried about Chisty's torts too. I keep checking to see if she's posted. Fingers crossed for her and those two babies.
Terry.
