Good idea, best to think it through.
I keep sulcatas, russians, NA box turtles and C. galbinifrons.
The sulcatas have most of the back yard, they have their own area with overnight shed.
That area opens into the whole back yard, but there is a fence and gate dividing the yard and the sulcatas area.
At 11am the dog door goes on and the dogs stay in the house for 6 hours, with supervised visits outdoors.
The gate is opened and the sulcatas are free to roam the whole back yard. At 5pm they go back in their area and the dogs go out again!!
The Russian torts's enclosure is in the front yard,
the NA box turtles have a large enclosure on one side of the house, the C. galbinifrons on the other!
I too would love one more species of tort but don't have the room,my sub adult/adult sulcatas
have already got all the room there is.
Terry.
