we used a different dome in order to save the regular one for
the summer. Four screws connect the "extender" to the dome.
The extender seems to be an air duct reducer from 8" to 6",
only cost a few bucks, but required as the bulb itself is
very big. This way it's not touching the screen.
The other dome is the ceramic heater which goes on and off and
is the only thing on at night, it's on a thermostat which you
can't put the Active lights on anyways.
