I think the 70 to 95 range is generally considered more normal.
What foods are you feeding him?
Does he go to the bathroom when you soak him or any other time?
I have a link somewhere that helps you locate a Herp Vet in your area.....let me look for it.
: I put a smaller, regular 40 w bulb in place of the basking bulb. It is now 70 degrees in the cool spot (where he is sitting right now). Under the bulb, a thermometer laying on the floor reads 95 degrees (still too warm?), and a reading in another corner of the tank is 80. I soaked him again this afternoon, he seems to open up his eyes during a soak. Maybe I'll try the eyedrops, if no major change soon, I will contact a vet in my area (Buffalo/Niagara Falls). Hopefully I can find one nearby.
