I can post a different habitat for the leopard for any area. That is, I can pull one up to fit any situation that they actually live in wet or dry. The photos in Misty Cortons pamphlet look very similar to some areas of Southern California. So you see, the point is that they come from an extreemly diverse range of habitats. To say that they don't do well in one or another depends on where they were collected if they were wild caught or how they were raised if they were captive raised.
: : This is a shot from the Leopard Tortoise (G. paardalis) northern most range. Somolia or Kenya. (kinda looks like parts of Fla. huh?) Leopards were found in that very spot.
