By now most of you have read my recomendations and the range I keep my animals. My little sulcata will sit under the bulb off to one side. When I feel it it is really warm but it does move away. My egyptian tortoises usually stay at the cool end of the enclosure moving into the warm end occasionaly. This is what makes me think that sulcatas like it hot as long as it has the option to move out.

: i was wondering if they know when to get out from under the heat lamp? he seems to sit under it for a long time and it makes me nervous!
