As a staple food, I don't think Mazuri is a good diet choice 24/7. My animals get it twice a month, just to throw in a little diversity to their diet. I have seen people with remarkable cosmetic results on raising torts on a straight Mazuri diet, but the keyword here is "cosmetic" you can't see what it is doing to the liver.
I don't know where u are, but you could try growing some winter bermuda or rye grass and get some grow mix. Or you could just feed them a variable green diet with a concentration on high calcium, low phosporous. Here's a link from the tortoise trust people that I found to be pretty informative. It just amazes me these days on how intelligent people are on nutritional values for torts.
