Homopus in breeding situations in the USA seem to be a rarity. There are several zoological institutions that have lone animals. We have two breeding pairs and three offspring of Homopus signatus. But, as far as I know we are the only ones currently breeding these guys. I would be real interested to learn of any private people breeding these or any other Homopus.
