Help my friend found a turtle. His cats were trying to catch it. I need to know how to care for it. I dont know what kind it is. It didnt have yellow stripes on its head until after september. It eats salad about three to four times a week. But after september it only eats once a couple days. It is small id say about 4-7 inches long. I think its 7years old because it has seven rings on its shell. Its a green+brown+gray color. It does not look like a water turtle but im prety sure its not a tortoise. Its strong for its size. Its a male. If its sleeping and you wake it up it makes a frrrr sound. My friend who is my penpal who lives in Israel found the turtle under his grandmothers house being chased by the cats. He does not know how to care for it and needs help soon!
