Upon viewing many webpages (and I've been viewing quite a few since my Sulcata tortoise acquistion), I have seen both Geochelone Sulcata and Testudo Graeca being referred to as a 'Spur thigh'. Maybe it's a common misuse of the common name!
Typing "spur thigh" on a search engine seems to yield more matches with the Sulcata than the Graeca. I'm not trying to rock the boat or say that I'm right. Just pointing out what I've discovered!
I have a feeling that a heated debate by others is sure to follow!
Keep it peaceful!
