Teddy's 6 inches and over 700 grams. He's dense,
like a brick (dense in the head too!) LOL!
I also agree with your night temps, I keep him
with a ceramic heater on a thermostat at night
and it keeps it at about 78, he's in the hay
pile though. If he wanted to he could go deeper
into it, or move completely. In the morning I
put the cermic heater on 90, and turn his
bulb on which gives a slightly higher bask area.
I just seem to see more "my turtle has a cold"
or "runny nose" than anything else here, and
I feel they are being kept too cool. I feel that
burrowing in native African soil is good, but
that ground is warm, and not COLD, it just can't
be compared.
