Hi Hank,
have you visited the Habitat page at Turtle Cafe?
I've linked it for you below.
Can't help you with indoor enclosures as I house all my torts outdoors.
My Russian tort enclosure is around 20'-15', for two Russian Torts.
It's built up against the house, the walls are around 18" high and sunk in the ground a few inches to stop the torts digging under and out!
Along the back wall, wqhich is the house there's a hedge which the torts sleep under.
The soil there is rocky and soft, each tortoise has a hole dug, which they go into at night.
The rest of the enclosure is just grass, rocks, logs, edible plants.
They seem very happy and don't attemp to dig out.
