I swear a restaurant suppy place thought I was some kind of agency but they said the manufacture told them when they asked about UV, it was at the opposite end of the spectrum. HUH ? The bulbs did in fact carry some UV but the amount was unspecified. The prices were very reasonable. $6.98 for uncoated (non plastic or whatever) and $19.98 for coated that kept the bulb from shattering if broken from food. They explained the coated version kept the bulb together if bumped or whatever. But I want to know what the opposite end of UV ment ?
