: Hi Bill,

: I brought them to the US when we moved back. We then went on to Belize where it was too hot and damp for them so I turned them over to Rusty Grimpy at the Tulsa, OK Zoo.

Hello Mike,
you sure get around...US,Argentina,Belize...I've read your care sheet somewhere out on the net...How did you first acquire these little guys? Did you have trouble taking them from Argentina to the USA? Do you know the Tulsa Zoo's email...

:He sold them for me, I'm not sure who all got them. I know that Dan Wolfe got some ...

I have one of Dan's kleins & he's been very helpful with info on the kleins, pancakes & yes I have asked a few questions about the Homopus.

:They're great little tortoises.

Most of us will never know. You were very lucky. I've donated some cash to Victor Loehr of the Netherlands for his continuing study of Homopus. His website is about the only helpful info I've found other than your caresheet & Mr Barzyk's article. If you have any more info, I would greatly appreciate if you could contact me direst off the forum.

Thanks,
Bill
