Hi,
of the Padloper tortoises I've only heard of H.signatus ( speckled padloper) being bred in captivity.
Maybe H. areolatus ( Parrot-beaked tortoise) are also bred in captivity. Infact I think I saw some data ( can't find it right now).
But I'm pretty sure that it would be near impossible to obtain any.
I do know that for all the Padlopers (Homopus)strict isolation is recommended. As they do not have a strong resistance to alien pathogens.
So not much help really, but even if you could get hold of them. I wouldn't consider them an easy species.
Terry.
