Just be careful you are using grass that is okay for torts and that is free of chemicals or fertilizers/pesticides. I would really recommend feeding graze mix, but I think anything inside a tortoise's pen for good will get devoured and then promptly trampled. I would instead for indoor use recommend growing graze mix and Opuntia cactus in planters or window boxes and clipping from them for feeding each day. That way they will grow to be seedlings before they get eaten, not just budding sprouted grass. You can order graze mix online from a few places for tortoises...a link is below for a place I use
