I have recently purchased a Russian Box Tortise. I named her Anya, we are perfectly suited to each other. She is normally very responsive and playfull. She lets me feed her, stroke her and show her off! I recently traveled back to my hometown this weekend (4hr trip). I live in Northern PA so the weather is crappy windy and cold:( I think that my tortise has caught a cold. I don't want anything to happen to her... The pet store that I got her from doesn't have any more info to give, I can't find info on the net about this type of tortise specifically and I can't find a local vet that takes care of tortises and reptiles. She has developed runny eyes (sorry to be gross but it is goopy matter build up), she has lost her appetite, she stays burrowed most of the time and sleeps. I thought originally that she was trying to hibernate but she has started sneezing and her pen is kept quite warm to accomidate for the cold season. I'm not sure what to do, any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated!!!!
