thanks for getting back to me.
umm... i guess her tail is about an inch long and her cloaca is about in the middle of it.
the woman who sold me it at the pet store said she was a girl due to the flat plastron but then when i went back i noticed that some of the other russians there had shorter tails. so i don't know... but the pic you posted of the scutes on the plastron matched a female... so you can see where i'm a little confused.
