These are some of my sulcatas. Some years ago some fossils of a very big tortoise were found in Lanzarote, the nearest Canary Island to Mainlad Africa (100 miles aprox). It must be sulcata IMHO. The natural range of this tortoise cames to south Mauritania, and few thousands years ago western sahara was more a savanna than a desert.
I would like to hear from huge breeders with interest in export sulcata babys to Europe. Email me.
