This is the time of the year that is devistating to these animals. All the leopards that I have kept cannot tolerate chills. I found if it drops below 60 I start seeing occurances of runny noses and such. I used to worry about this but now do not unless it is acompanied by other signs.
You could warm him up and dry him out and see what happens but if it is wheezing/sneezing I would really suggest a vet visit.
Good luck.
: Hi, I have had an African Leopard Tortiose for 3yrs now. He has had a cold a couple of times. It was hard to treat him because there are no vets in my area that have ever delt with them. I had to get on here to help my vet. Don't get me wrong, he researched it too. I'm just checking to see if her sneezing is anything to worry about. Two weeks ago, she sneezed several times throughout the morning. She stopped, but today I heard her sneeze a few times. I don't want to take her to the vet if I don't have to. It's nor the money problem, but it seems to be a real tramatic experience for her. Anyways now that I've gone on to far....any suggestions. I've been a huge worrier the past 3 years because I'd die if Tordy died because I didn't know what to look for when sh's sick. O.k. I'll stop now!!!:)
