I like CareFresh for indoor pens personally. People use all different kinds of things thought. I can see where you ran into some trouble with what you tried so far. I would say that rabbit pellets are good, and you can put a hay area. I'd recommend a hay for partial bedding that is lower in protein than alfalfa...try www.oxbowhay.com. Or you can use Timothy Hay. Pretty Pets is a good food for emergencies but nothing is better than a natural diet. Try www.turtlecafe.net for feeding info and products.

: Hi,finding alot of confusion on bedding just got a baby sulcata read that reptile carpet was good mine was trying to eat it so i tryied sand kept sticking to his feet after his tromp through his water. Then read that alfalfa hay was good then heard it was not good for babies too much fiber. Please help i love this little guy and want what's best. Also a breeder told me that pretty pets tortoise food was great as 80percent of their diet. Thanks alot
