: Try this e-mail Lilchomper@earthlink.net
: We soaked him tonight and he dropped 4 rather large loads.
: I have not seen the jelly type pee?? Since a week before christmas. Sorry for not throwing that time frame in there.
: I contacted my vet and am waiting to hear back.

: : Get it to a vet ASAP. That thick jelly urine is a distinct sign of hexamita or urinary infection. If you act at all, Flagyl will take care of this. If not, he will develop a secondary infection due to renal failure. You can't hurt him with a proper dosage of flagyl. He will die if the protozoa is present and goes untreated.

: : (and yes, this opinion is with the understanding that a vet be consulted)
: : btw, your email does not seem to be working.

description from your girlfriend (?) regarding the jelly-like stuff, maybe the more experienced could figure out what it was. To someone not familiar with what urates look like, they may describe them as jelly-like since they don't look like the other 2 options. Maybe color and more consistency descriptors can confirm or improve the outlook. Good luck.
