My Sulcatta tortoise is approx. 8 months old and has been doing great. Recently, however he seems to be laying around alot. Upon further inspection I noticed that his shell seems to be softening!!! My first instincts tell me "calcium deficiency" What do you think? Is there any hope for his full recovery? Once I obtain a calcium supplement and immplement dosages, how long will recovery be? Any advice at all on this subject will make me, Missy and most of all Mustaffa very happy. Thank you for your help.
