In Reply to: My Sulcata Isn't Eating! posted by Cara on November 04, 2000 at 10:39:41:
: I have a sulcata tortoise that I bought from a pet store about a month ago. He used to eat very well. I'd even let him outside when it got up to 75. He eats lettuce leaves, grass, sunflower leaves, and clover. I have a lamp in his cage at one end. But he stopped eating (that I noticed) about a week or so ago. I don't notice any breathing problems... what should I do?
Number one answer. Take it to the vet. One that specializes in torts. Don't let it go any longer. Take a fresh stool sample. Parasite, worms....have it checked for everything. Good luck
