Thank you.
I have been told so many different things. I have been told by many other Sucata owners in my area, I am a member of the California Turtle Association, to have him out all the time. I see your point, a very good one at that.
I was thinking of an alternative... having an inside enclosure that enables him to have access to a large walking area of the house - but has a warm area for him, along with a burrowing area. I was going to get a cat litter box, make a small ramp (with railing) which will give him the burrowing space indoors. Inside he has a favorite spot to go to, underneath a large stuffed animal - the only thing is it is on ceramic tile. I tried putting a towel under the stuffed animal so he won't get the heat sucked out of him... he just shoves the towel aside.
Thank you again - and I appreciate your imput. His health is my main concern.
I have visited the site, very informative. Thank you!!
