Although the Jackson ratio may not apply specifically to Russians, there should be a straight line correlation between carapace length and weight for any given species. I have seen such data for Leopard Tortoises; there was a straight line correlation as a log:log chart. I have dug up some length and weight data for 3 Russians we have kept for about 4 years. I have not yet plotted the data, but there does appear to be some correlation. Hopefully this will help you determine where your tortoise falls, at least relative to mine.
