Hi Terry
Just to avoid any further confusion I thought it should be pointed out that Enrofloxacin is not actually effective against true viruses. Baytril works by inhibiting bacterial enzymes. It is however useful against Mycoplasmas which are often referred to as "virus-like" due to their lack of cell wall and also against Chlamydia which reproduces inside a host cell similar to the way a virus does. Despite some similarities neither of these organisms are viruses. That may be what caused your confusion.
