I certainly did not write to you to criticise you...I thought you wrote here for information? Well, that is what was provided. You wanted to know what land tortoise you can keep in a 30-gallon fishtank for life...and that answer none. If you are not happy with that answer, I cannot help that. I do remember extending an offer to help at the end of my posts? However, Turtle Homes has rehomed like 400+ animals since 9/99 many of whom were kept in small fishtanks with inadequate lighting and diet and were irreparably deformed or fell ill and had to be rehabbed...some died. That is the reason for my emphatic response...but I still don't see how it was touchy. Sorry if you felt that way....
