I am experimenting with alfalfa pellets now and I
agree, the smell isn't pleasant in a closed up
apartment. My vet suggested Bermuda Grass. I have
no idea what that is or where to get it but it may
work. If you find any let me know.
: I have had a pair of Russian Tortoises for about 3 years. The litter I use for them is rabbit food (you know, the green pelleted type). I like this because if they accidentally ingest it I'm not worried about them being poisoned.
: The other people I live with, however, don't like the smell of these alfalfa pellets. What else can I use? I need something relatively cheep, absorbent, and non toxic. Flood me with ideas! I know I may have to experiment a bit here.
: THANKS!
