Marissa's right. Get used to the Sulcata, and
what they REALLY will need in terms of space,
money and again - space. I got one just over
a year ago, and he's enough to deal with! LOL
We're talking the third (Sulcata) and fourth (Leopard)
largest tortoises in the world, which is easy to
forget in their cute baby size in a small terrarium.

As to the personalities, when I got Theo, he was
in a (ugh!) 10 gallon tank with a leopard tortoises,
and he was all happy-go-lucky in there dispite the
lousy size of the tank. He was eating and walking
around curiously. I visited him on 3 different
days at different times, and it was always the same
thing, he was out and about and the leopard was
in the shell, never did see it.

Don't make a common mistake in reptiles which is
getting too many too soon.

good luck with the sulcata, niki & teddy
