: I was looking for some opinions on care and what not, the tort was my girlfreinds and when she moved out she left him behind, I have him in a 20 long, with a night lamp pointed in the center of the cage and its about 90-95 in the spot, I am using paper twols as a substrate and was wondering if their was any kind of sand or anything more natural that you could recomend that is safe, I have been breeding boas for over ten years so I know alot of stuff they cant digest and other stuff swells but was wondering if you guys know of anything safe, also what are some greens I could find at the grocery store, (I am a single male not very good at shopping lol) for him/her hes been living off a diet of romaine lettece with calcuim suppliment daily and two moistened tort pellets every other day, and water about once a week, then every ten days or so I soak him in luke warm water for about 15 minutes, any help would be aprecaited thank you Jason
