I have a male thats at least 22 yrs old. Is that old for a red foot?

Have yours made any attempt at mating? If not, do you think they would if you were housing them differently?

: Congratulations on your new addition! I've had red-foots for about 6 yrs now and they've become my favorite tortoise. I have 3(1-M,2-F). They all have really outgoing personalities. My male is very old, approx 20-25 yrs. He comes up wanting to have his head scratched or to beg for tidbits when you come near his pen. The other thing thats really neat with red-foots is that they are very social with each other. I think you'll have lots of enjoyment with your first tortoise buddy!
