Do Sulcata's need friends??

I just would like to get some opinions about whether it is better to just have one Sulcata or to have two or more. I was planning to adopt a turtle from Turtle homes after we build an outdoor setup for the current one. I was just going to make it for 2. But, I have a hatchling right now, so that won't be necessary for a year or so. So I wondered if my little baby would be happier if it had a friend. It isn't like I don't pay alot of attention to it. I probably give it more than it needs, lol.
