If you think your tortoise has worms, don't hibernate it. Only an absolutely healthy tortoise should be hibernated.
As far as dewormers, take it to the vet. Some dewormers made for other animals are toxic to tortoises. Anything containing Ivermectin (sp) can kill your tortoise.
If you've never hibernated a tortoise before, don't do it this year. Read about it and learn first.
