I have to disagree. The supplment is an all natural mix of grazing grasses that are naturally lower in protein and high in fiber. The legumes represent the diet of many tortoises in captivity (not the best food but commonly fed by tortoise owners). As with any supplement, it is just that and not intended to replace the natural diet but help assure fiber in a captive diet.
