Increase hydration or increase fiber or increase calcium or provide more variety of dark leafy greens and grasses or increase hydration.
The point is we really don't know what causes pyramiding. What can be said with certainty is that there is a nutritional/environmental imbalance. Don't focus on any one component. Balance is what you are looking for. What that balance is depends on each species and each individual.
