Yes, just not the tiny red-ear sliders you see
for sale in SC for example. I believe the
4 inch rule applies here, and they ought to
be sold for "scientific, or educational purposes".
Heck we could go to some pet shops right now that
are selling tortoises. I bought mine here, and
he's been in the newspapers without incident or
question. My vet sees a lot of torts in her
practice too. I've even had a Fish & Game
officer in the house looking at my pets, no
problem.
