I was SO excited until I opened the box and found him almost frozen to death. He was cold to the touch...felt like an icecube! I put him under the heat lamp and tonight he is moving around a little (a very little). He doesn't open his eyes that often and he refuses to eat.
Rock on Joey, welcome to the the tribe.
Dont worry if he doesn't eat or eliminate for a few days to get over the travel shock and the exposure. Keep a record of the eliminations, soak everyday in warm water, not hot. Go out to the market and see if you can find some edible flowers and prickley pear. He sees a prickley pear he should go for it. Give him some color to try a stimulate him to eat. Make a vet appointment and get a fecal sample to them as well, and make sure there are no noticable things wrong like bubbles from or runny nose. You may need to keep it extra warm right now to get over the exposure. Keep us posted.
Ciao'
