Great news.
The turtle will be in good hands, Turtle Homes is a great bunch of people, that's one lucky turtle.
More good news:
I found a tiny box turtle hatchling in my enclosure today. It's not more than a day or so old, hard to spot in a huge heavily planted enclosure. But it was in one of the soaking pools, absolutely huge plant pot saucers sunk in the ground.
Luckily some mulberry leaves had fallen into the water and it was floating on one of them!!
I've named it Leaf, and have placed flat rocks in all the soaking pools, just incase there's more little hatchlings out there.
