Oh no, agree, this is not good. What state are you
in and are you keeping the Sulcata outdoors?
Have you had him for a year or just got him
and he's a year old?? They can't get a chill
or too cold. If you can, get extra heat to him,
with a respiratory infection, you could raise
the temperature of the warm/basking area to
90/105 making sure there's a way to move to
a cooler section of the enclosure. Also make
sure there's water as the added heat leads
to dehydration quickly. A vet really needs to
help you right away, this is not normal or OK.
The weather changing does affect snakes as well
as other reptiles including turtles, but this is
not something that should affect a non-native
Sulcata tortoise. Good luck. niki
