A 55 gallon, is not going to be much better for
long, it's mostly high, designed for fish, not
floorspace.
Sulcatas are not "sleepy" that's a sign of illness.
They're fairly active, happy-go-lucky natured.
There's no way to set up a heat gradient in a tiny
tank. The 55 is a min. for now, and you could tape
some construction paper around the three sides of
it to take away the "glass stress factor".
Sulcatas are not indoor animals, and can not be kept
indoors when large. Even with good resources available,
I restrict myself to keeping one, hopefully I can
do right by him as well as I can. Get to know
a vet that will assist you in keeping your animals
healthy. niki
