Illnesses are not normally transfered in an airborne way, but you may well have cross contaminated and caused illness to the other tortoise if you did not wash your hands or use gloves and change them in between handling your tortoises.
Did either of these tortoises ever go to a veterinarian? If not, get the remaining tortoise to a vet ASAP, to check for both ascarid (intestinal worm) and flagellate parasites, as well as a complete health exam, and DO not wait until Monday!!!!
