Thanks for your post. I certainly don't mind suggestions. Interestingly, the books we purchased stated that this size enclosure was adequate and the pet store reassured us that this was appropriate. We can certainly look into another type of enclosure that provides more space. My son is 13 and takes good care of the tortoise. I appreciate your approach in suggesting a larger size as opposed to the others that just want to criticize. I came to this site to learn. Thanks for taking the time. -Mike-
